The 2010 Mineral Retreat theme is "Back to Basics."

We will be trying out a new schedule to refocus the retreat more towards collecting.

We have listened to your comments and observed events. With these data we are making changes to the 2010 retreat events and schedule. For example, some have complained about the Sunday afternoon registration at the museum cutting into collecting time on Sunday so we are moving it to Sunday evening. We have observed the lack of bidding at the voice auction so it is being eliminated as is the retreat banquet. And so on. We realize that it is impossible to please everyone, but we sure hope the changes will refocus the retreat on collecting while making the retreat better too. As always, your input is welcomed.
